It is with sincere enthusiasm that I welcome you to the virtual home of the prestigious and award winning Lake Charles Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated!

Our chapter was chartered by eleven dynamic, focused, and visionary young women as the Epsilon Eta Sigma Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority in 1955. The Lake Charles Alumnae Chapter has a rich legacy in sisterhood, scholarship, and service. For over 64 years, we have provided community service throughout the community and will continue this steadfast service for many more.

 

For many decades of service through sisterhood, the Lake Charles Alumnae Chapter has an uncompromising commitment to uphold our extraordinary legacy. Our strong foundation enables us to promote the goals and objectives of our sorority through programs and initiatives designed to support the community at large. While our composition is diverse in age, professions, interests and civic accomplishments, we share the common goal of providing service-based programs as we proudly serve the residents of our community guided by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority’s s National Five Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, Political Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and International Awareness and Involvement.
